The Big Tweet 2018!

The Missing People annual Big Tweet, in aid of International Missing Children's Day, was a huge success. This year, The Big Tweet was held in Twitter London HQ for the first time ever! An appeal for a missing child was tweeted every half an hour and special guests came along to Twitter to join #TeamBigTweet and help #FindEveryChild. Below is a photo account of the day... ENJOY!

Day (25th May 2018)

The 24-hour tweetathon started at midnight with our very own Paul Joseph and Amy Walker, tweeting from 12-4am then 4am to 8am. The morning in Twitter started off quietly with Bryony on shift till 10... but not for long.

The first special guests to arrive were Danyl Johnson and Hazel Johnstone representing players of People's Postcode Lottery, our sponsors on the day.

Our next VIP's came in the form of families from the Missing People Choir, who came to tweet and enjoy the day with the team.

The tweets started flooding in thick and fast and everyone got stuck in replying, Retweeting, thanking and liking all the posts.

Before we knew it, our CEO Jo Youle arrived for her live interview on Sky News!

We had a wonderful day hosting The Big Tweet in Twitter HQ! Don't forget to keep an eye on our social media pages for updates on how many children featured have been found. We hope that you enjoyed taking part in The Big Tweet as much as we did! We look forward to growing the team for a bigger and better year in 2019!
